About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Integration Specialist to join our team at TasPorts. As a key member of our Information Technology department, you will play a critical role in advancing our capability to integrate systems and manage data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain data analytics software, integration systems, and processes to support our operational and corporate departments.
  • Analyze, design, test, and document business and functional data requirements.
  • Undertake the resolution of data systems issues, including user errors, vendor liaison, and system changes and upgrades.
  • Provide authoritative knowledge and advice on data flow design techniques to assist in the development and advancement of our data-related capabilities.
  • Manage the integration of data into analytical and business operational systems, including data design and modeling, user acceptance testing, and good practice workflows.
Requirements
  • High-level skills and experience in all aspects of information technology data management systems, with a proven ability to manage data and produce high-level financial and operational reports.
  • Significant hands-on experience in the implementation, maintenance, and/or support of data repositories and data platforms in a large complex ICT environment.
  • A minimum of 5 years of recent industry experience, including developing and supporting middleware and other industry integration platforms, and data warehouse and reporting solutions across cloud-based and on-premises environments.
  • An analytical mind, sound logic, and an aptitude for solving technical problems, including the ability to apply knowledge and experience in data engineering to identify opportunities for improved application and integration solutions.
  • High-level communication and training skills, with the ability to effectively problem-solve and offer support and advice to users as problems arise.
