About the Role


We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our operations team as a Dockhand at TNT Express.


The successful candidate will be responsible for safely managing and internally moving all consignments that come in and out of our station in a timely manner. This will involve labeling all consignments to ensure efficient routing, sorting consignments to the correct delivery area, and working together as a team to ensure efficient turnaround times.


We are looking for someone with previous warehouse experience, a forklift license, and a strong commitment to customer service. As a member of our operations team, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of freight, so you must be able to work well under pressure and maintain a safe and efficient workflow.


Key Responsibilities



  • Safely manage and internally move all consignments that come in and out of our station in a timely manner
  • Label all consignments to ensure efficient routing
  • Sort consignments to the correct delivery area
  • Work together as a team to ensure efficient turnaround times
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of freight

Requirements



  • Previous warehouse experience desirable
  • Forklift license is mandatory
  • Outstanding customer service experience
  • Safety focused with an understanding of chain of responsibility
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
