About the Role

">

As an Aviation Rescue Fire Fighter, you will be stationed at one of our airport fire stations, dedicated to responding to any aerodrome related emergency. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to aircraft incidents">
  • Maintenance of trucks and the fire station">
  • Providing first aid and offering fire safety advice">

Requirements

">

To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

">
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Australian permanent residency">
  • Completed senior secondary certificate of education (Year 10/12)">
  • Current unrestricted driver's license with the ability to obtain a heavy rigid license">
  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 or HTLAID014) at time of commencement on Recruit Course">
  • Physically and mentally fit, able to pass a physical aptitude test including a beep test with a pass score of 9.1 and aviation medical assessment">
  • Ability to work well in a team, think quickly under pressure, and make logical decisions in critical situations">
