Short-Term Nursing Contract Position

A Queensland hospital requires a skilled Registered Nurse for a short-term contract.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Training and knowledge of electronic medical records (eMR) and proficiency in using this system;
- Knowledge of First Net, Power Chart, and HBCIS systems;
- Rural nursing and emergency experience;
- Triage skills and ability to lead teams;
Desirable qualifications include:
- Paediatric life support certification;
- Experience with imminent births is preferred;
- Previous experience working in Australia, QLD Health, or Mackay Hospital is highly regarded.
The successful candidate must have:
- BLS competency;
- ALS competency;
- ETEK training;
- Manual and patient handling skills;
- Infection control knowledge;
- Aggressive behaviour management skills;
- Mandatory reporting skills for child abuse and neglect;
- Medications management including QPHS Regulations;
This role offers opportunities for professional development, including integrated electronic medical record training and online induction training. AHPRA registration and eligibility to work in Australia are essential requirements.
