WorkPac is seeking an Approvals Planner to support the Planning and Resource Development teams in Perth. This is a Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week role for a 6 month duration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate documentation for internal submission of strategic ground access and rehabilitation approvals
  • Collaborate with the Readiness Specialist and technical teams to ensure ground access submissions are fit for project scope
  • Track and manage Resource Development ground access Submissions
  • Submit heritage field survey only requests for medium- and long-term drill plans
  • Coordinate, prioritize and escalate accordingly to ensure requests are included in internal RTIO heritage field survey prioritization processes
  • Collaborate with state government approvals on tracking and identifying when new clearing mechanisms are required to sustain long term development pathways
  • Track and manage variations to Resource Development drilling scopes as they apply to Approvals Requests
Requirements
  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and the team
  • Experience using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Arc Pro or Arc Map will be highly regarded
  • Broad understanding of ground disturbance permitting and associated legislation
  • Demonstrated skills in planning or scheduling activities, preferably within a project management environment
  • Proficient stakeholder engagement skills (i.e. ability to effectively influence, collaborate with and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Strong Analytical skills
