About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative educator to join our Middle School team as a Lecturer in English and Humanities.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching English, Humanities, and Literacy within a Middle Years context that values rich, cross-disciplinary learning connections.

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Foster a love of language, literature, and the humanities in students.
  • Support the pastoral care and wellbeing of all students, demonstrating ethical and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to planning, evaluating and developing programs for English, Humanities and Literacy that align with the Australian Curriculum and program guidelines.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities, supervisory duties, and School events.
  • Collaborate positively with colleagues, parents, and the wider community.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and interactions, upholding School policies and the Quaker ethos.
