About the Role

As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives by helping them stay safe and comfortable at home. Your duties will include:

  • Providing personal care such as showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Offering respite care to give carers a break
  • Helping clients stay active and connected in their community
  • Following care plans to meet each person's unique needs

What You Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A caring nature and passion for helping others
  • Good communication skills to chat and listen to clients and team members
  • The ability to work independently and use technology in your role
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured car
  • Access to a Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to get one)

Nice-to-Haves include a Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services, experience in aged care or disability support, and First Aid and CPR certification.
