Job Summary
This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our theatre department. You will be responsible for safely moving patients to and from Theatre and Recovery, assisting with setup, patient positioning, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients within the theatre complex.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the theatre by providing support with equipment setup, patient positioning, and waste management.
- Assist other wards as needed, providing timely support to ensure seamless operations.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to new team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and learning.
Requirements
- Exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with colleagues and patients.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality service and exceeding customer expectations.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in healthcare.
