Program Management Job Description

This is a senior IT program management position focused on delivering cybersecurity projects and programs.

The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for defining, planning, tracking, and managing technology projects, identifying key resources, and providing direction to ensure the successful delivery of assigned program objectives.

Key deliverables include producing high-quality program deliverables within agreed cost, timescale, and quality parameters.

Additionally, the Cybersecurity IT Program Manager plays a strategic role in program strategy, planning, monitoring and control, relationship management, and providing advice and guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and managing complex cybersecurity projects and programs to expedite deployment of critical controls into production
  • Creating strategic milestones, metrics, dependencies, budgets, and timelines
  • Managing stakeholder communications across vendors, network, engineering, operations teams, and application owners impacted by the program
  • Developing and managing metrics and communications to leadership and across the organization
Requirements
  • 5-8 years' experience in cybersecurity and managing complex cybersecurity projects and programs
  • Experience managing technology projects using project management methodologies (e.g. waterfall, agile, iterative)
  • Experience running multiple technology projects working directly with business owners

Strong project management skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and adapt security measures as needed.

Detail-oriented, problem-solving, and strategic thinking are essential.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP or similar are preferred.
