Project Overview

Hudson is seeking a highly qualified Structural Engineer with a strong track record in the Australian market. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry experience and a proven ability to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare concept and schematic designs for various structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
  • Conduct detailed analysis, design computations, and oversee the preparation of documentation.
  • Perform peer reviews of detailed calculations, technical reports, and design concepts.
  • Coordinate designs with other project team consultants, architects, and clients.
  • Provide financial oversight of projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Develop and maintain schedules for assigned work scope and associated deliverables.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor works undertaken and ensure compliance with design specifications.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the Australian market.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in structural engineering.
  • A proven track record of successful planning, concept, and detailed design of varied projects.
  • Strong technical skills coupled with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • The ability to develop and nurture internal and external relationships.
