Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Direct Care Attendant to join our team at Renmark Nursing Home. As a Direct Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing direct client service to residents, including identifying diversional therapy needs and providing diversional therapy in accordance with established programs.
  • Collaborate with health professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide qualitative care and complete routine care and documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Provide diversional therapy and support to residents, including activities such as exercise, arts and crafts, and social events.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans for residents.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services.
Requirements
  • AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
  • Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of duties.
  • Previous experience in providing direct care services in a health-related field, dealing with aged, frail, or disabled persons.
