Educational Leader

Job Description:

The position of Educational Leader is pivotal in ensuring the provision of high-quality education and health development services to children within a culturally safe framework. This involves working in accordance with National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework, specifically the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a) early childhood model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing leadership and support to the Congress Childcare Centre's team to deliver stimulating learning activities.
  • Mentoring and supporting Team Leaders and Educators to ensure the implementation of a culturally safe and engaging curriculum.
  • Developing strong relationships with children, their families, and the community to increase enrolments and attendance.
  • Working closely with the Centre Manager to deliver supportive and culturally appropriate primary healthcare services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualification(s) in Early Childhood Diploma or Teaching Qualification or equivalent as recognized in the National Quality Standards.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply information about how children learn and develop in practical ways.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and an understanding of the National Quality Standards.
