Gaining hands-on experience in project delivery and management will help you develop valuable skills and expertise. Our two-year program is designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of project engineering within the resources sector.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Work on-site, gaining practical experience in project engineering.
  • Receive ongoing support from a Project Manager, Supervisor, and Graduate buddy.
  • Participate in structured Learning & Development modules, workshops, and courses.
  • Network with peers at our annual Graduate Forum.
  • Develop leadership skills and contribute to real-world projects that drive innovation within the industry.
  • Rotate through various business areas, broadening your skills and exploring different career paths.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, meeting safety and quality standards.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Managing sub-contractors across various disciplines to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Assisting in preparing project estimates, tender submissions, and developing project schedules.
  • Supporting all phases of the project lifecycle, including tendering, planning, execution, and HSE compliance.
  • Collaborating with the Operational team to ensure a team-oriented approach to project delivery.
  • Managing project scope, schedule, and budgets as required, ensuring effective execution.

To be successful, you'll need:

  • Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency or suitable Visa with working rights.
  • An Engineering degree (Bachelor or higher) within Electrical and/or Electrical & Instrumentation with previous work experience through vacation work or similar, in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Ability to work on a FIFO or DIDO from Perth, Brisbane or Newcastle
  • Previous work experience within your chosen field through internships or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • A passion for the work we do and the desire to do real hands-on work in the field.
