We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Quality Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data across the organization. This involves developing and maintaining data quality strategies, policies, and procedures while collaborating with a global Data Quality Support team to document, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Championing Data Quality Strategy: Supporting and upholding Cochlear's data quality strategy to promote data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Ensuring Data Governance: Maintaining our data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with data regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Assessing and Improving Data Quality: Monitoring data quality metrics, conducting regular audits, and identifying improvement areas. Working with cross-functional teams to address issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Leading Data Quality Initiatives: Proactively using data management tools to detect, report, and resolve data quality issues.
  • Promoting Data Quality Awareness: Driving training programs to educate teams on data quality best practices and methodologies.
  • Fostering Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with data stewards, IT, and other stakeholders to define data requirements and resolve challenges.
  • Mentoring and Managing Teams: Leading, supporting, and continually upskilling a team of Data Quality + Reporting Analysts.
  • Engaging with Vendors: Overseeing relationships with data-related vendors for enhanced data management solutions.
  • Staying Informed: Keeping up with industry trends and integrating best practices to continuously improve data quality processes.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in data quality management and governance.
  • Experience leading and managing teams (5+ years).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data management platforms (e.g., MDM, ETL, data quality tools).
  • Familiarity with data regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Experience with Informatica is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Business Management, Project Management, or related fields.
