Job Summary

Fuse Recruitment is seeking a skilled Machine Setter to join our client's high-tech manufacturing team. As a Coating and Painting Specialist, you will be responsible for operating Centerless Grinding and Coherent Laser CNC machines, ensuring production meets quality specifications, and collaborating with engineering on new product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and operate Centerless Grinding and Coherent Laser CNC machines.
  • Ensure production meets quality specifications and maximise machine efficiency.
  • Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance.
  • Collaborate with engineering on new product development.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety policies.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification as a Fitter, Turner, Toolmaker, or Mechanical Engineer.
  • Strong experience in a busy GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Proven machine operating experience with troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and work with tight tolerances.
  • Experience with tool sharpening and manual lathe operation.
