Legal Counsel

Aurizon is seeking up to 3 talented Legal Counsels to provide commercially driven legal advice across a range of exciting focus areas. As a Legal Counsel at Aurizon, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with legal professionals across various practice areas.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver legal advice on property, land tenure, real estate, and infrastructure projects.
- Provide legal support on commercial contracts, procurement, and strategic initiatives across Aurizon's diverse operations.
- Advise on corporate advisory, employment law, procurement, safety, and environmental matters, supporting Aurizon's business units in meeting legal and regulatory obligations.
- Admitted to practice as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland with a current practicing certificate.
- Ideal experience in in-house legal practices in corporate environments or leading law firms.
- Strong communication skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage matters independently.
- A 'can do' attitude and willingness to work across multiple legal areas.
