Locum General Practitioner Opportunity in Tasmania

We are seeking a General Practitioner to join our team at Ochre Health in Bridport and Scottsdale, Tasmania. This is a unique opportunity to work in a mixed billing clinic with a team of experienced GPs, nurses, and administrative staff.

This is a locum GP position that requires you to work in both Bridport and Scottsdale. In Bridport, you will be working in a solo practice with nursing support, while in Scottsdale, you will be part of a team of GPs, nurses, and administrative staff. The daily rate of $1200 is offered or 65% of billings paid if greater across the week.
As a teaching practice, you will have the opportunity to provide quality collegial support to registrars, resident doctors, and medical students. The usual hours of work will be 9:00am to 5:00pm, with a requirement to work across each week between specified dates.
About the LocationScottsdale is a small town on the north-east coast of Tasmania, known for its green fields, blue mountains, and rich agricultural and forestry history. Bridport is a popular beachside holiday destination that offers a fun and memorable locum experience.
RequirementsTo be eligible for this role, you must hold unrestricted Specialist AHPRA registration in the field of General Practice, with RACGP fellowship or equivalent. You must also have full working rights.
