In addition to demonstrated ability to consolidate and analyze information, you will have the skills and knowledge to provide critical thinking and a solution-focused attitude, always looking for opportunities to drive improvement and able to promote and influence change to internal and external stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing electrical guidance and technical support to stakeholders within WAIO.
  • Reviewing and approving Mobile Engineering Electrical Standards, Specifications, Drawings, and Procedures applicable to mobile electrical equipment.
  • Supporting the identification, evaluation, and implementation of Zero emission Technology Solutions applicable to mobile assets.
  • Evaluating changes to Electrical System modifications of governed mobile equipment.
  • Developing and coordinating Electrical technical audits to ensure mobile auxiliary assets are compliant with WA legislations and BHP design criteria.
  • Creating and distributing Electrical Safety and Improvements alerts to WAIO stakeholders.
  • Working directly with major OEM groups to influence equipment performance and design.
