The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Dental Support Specialist to join our team at North Sydney Dental Practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks, including booking and amending appointments, answering phone calls, and updating patient records.
  • Pre-Treatment Preparation: Prepare patients and facilities for dental treatment, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
  • Chairside Assistance: Provide quality chairside assistance to our dentists, ensuring patients receive the best possible care.
  • Infection Control: Maintain and implement infection control standards and procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Patient Care: Provide patient care from entry to the surgery, including recall management and ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience working in a local Australian dental practice is highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Customer Service: Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and patient care.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized with attention to detail, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Punctuality and Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and reliability, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful and light-hearted manner, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
