Electrical Instrumentation Role Overview

As an Electrical Instrumentation Technician, you will play a vital role in the maintenance and operation of various water and wastewater assets.

The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification, an A-grade electrical license, and relevant experience in instrumentation.

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on assets to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Respond to equipment failure and conduct fault-finding tasks to rectify issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, augmentation, and maintenance of assets, including commissioning and de-commissioning tasks.
  • Carry out programmed maintenance work, including capital installation projects.
  • Provide technical support to engineering teams and clients.
Requirements
  • Trade qualification with relevant experience in instrumentation.
  • A-grade electrical license and Certificate IV in Instrumentation.
  • Construction White Card and current Driver's License.
  • Confined Space Trained and Working at Heights certification (preferred).
  • First Aid certification (preferred).
