Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and effective operation of our warehouse. This role will be responsible for managing Credits and Return Authorities (RAs), administering duties, and coordinating internal communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Direct the checking of stock for damage and discrepancies against invoices, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
  • Pick, Pack, and Dispatch: Oversee the picking, packing, and dispatching of orders and outgoing goods, maintaining seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.
  • Returns and Credits: Manage the processing of returns and credits, resolving any issues promptly.
  • Documentation and Communication: Ensure accurate entry of delivery slips, requisitions, and invoices, communicate effectively with delivery drivers, and share information regarding stock issues.
  • Maintenance and Equipment: Operate and direct the use of machinery and equipment safely, completing regular maintenance tasks.
  • Auditing and Reporting: Complete pick reports, conduct audits, and participate in team meetings to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior warehouse experience, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills: Proficient in administration tasks, including Outlook, Excel, and internal communications, strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of 5-10 members, skilled in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and trolleys.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Excel preferred, understanding of distribution centre functions, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
  • Education: Solid literacy and numeracy skills, proficient computer skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and strong time management and organisational skills.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a suite of benefits and perks, including a 50% discount on our brands Hard Yakka, KingGee, and NNT, and 5% Wesfarmers discount for Kmart, Bunnings, Officeworks, and more.
