Housekeeping Supervisor Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality.


About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning and presentation of public areas, including common areas, bathrooms, lounges, reception, and corridors.

You will work closely with the cleaning team to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and on schedule. Additionally, you will monitor and maintain cleaning standards in accordance with contractual and company requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the cleaning team to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and on schedule.
  • Monitor and maintain cleaning standards in accordance with contractual and company requirements.
  • Supervise the daily cleaning and presentation of public areas, including common areas, bathrooms, lounges, reception, and corridors.
  • Ensure the team is fully conversant with health and safety obligations and adheres to policies.
  • Provide on-the-job training and support for team members to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years in housekeeping or a related role, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective leadership and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in housekeeping management software is advantageous.
  • Police check.
  • You must have work rights within Australia.
