The role of Executive Director, Training and Workforce Innovation is a pivotal leadership position within the industry.
About the RoleThis high-level leadership role requires an accomplished professional with extensive experience in vocational education, workforce development, or skills policy at a senior level.
Key responsibilities include:
- Co-designing scalable workforce pathways to enable upskilling, reskilling, and mobility, with a focus on future technologies such as electrification, digitalization, and advanced manufacturing.
- Partnering with stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives that drive quality, responsiveness, and innovation.
- Overseeing advisory groups and ensuring products are informed by strong industry insight and expertise.
- Collaborating across the organization to ensure capability solutions are evidence-based, inclusive, and designed for impact.
The ideal candidate will possess deep sector expertise and a track record in training product development or qualifications/systems reform.
Strategic insight into workforce development, policy, and sector-wide reform is essential, as well as strong capability in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and co-design.
A proven ability to lead high-performing teams in complex environments is also required.
