About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a committed Christian team that values community, family, education, and love.

The Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) will be responsible for developing and delivering a high-quality Kindergarten program that showcases a deep understanding of diverse educational frameworks, including EYLF, Hegarty, and NQS.

This part-time position is expected to start in April 2025 and last for 12 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement a comprehensive Kindergarten program aligned with early childhood teaching qualifications through ACECQA.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Child Protection Training, Regulations, and Requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date certifications in CPR, First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management.

This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to excellence in childcare.

Requirements
  • You hold an approved early childhood teaching qualification through ACECQA.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Child Protection Training and understanding of Regulations and Requirements.
  • Current CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management training.
  • You're motivated, active, positive, and effective communicator with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • You have a servant heart and vibrant Christian faith.
  • You are highly organised with strong project management skills.
  • You are empathetic and able to consider the needs of families while progressing the delivery of service in a timely manner.
  • You thrive when working collaboratively and taking initiative.
  • You have excellent attention to detail.
