Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies to enhance revenue and margin performance across our clinics and hospitals.

  • Pricing Leadership: Lead clinic and hospital pricing, revenue, and margin strategies, and strategic price setting for market-leading products and services.
  • Price Initiatives: Drive key pricing initiatives aligned with our integrated pet care model and business strategy.
  • Price Operations: Manage timely development of all price operations, processes, and reporting.
  • Pricing Capabilities: Build strategic pricing capabilities within the business.
  • Pricing Team: Lead an agile pricing team to improve pricing processes, operations, and decision-making quality.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential and drive profitability.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with operations teams and the wider business for alignment and support.
  • Change Management: Lead change management and training to ensure effective implementation of pricing changes.
  • Competitor Intelligence: Oversee the capture of competitor prices and promotion activities, enhancing our market intelligence database.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Improved Billing: Identify and execute opportunities to improve invoicing in clinics and hospitals, working closely with IT, L&D, and Veterinary Clinical Directors.
  2. Billing Optimization: Develop and track KPIs to optimize billing and reduce missed billings.
  3. Billing Structure: Enhance billing structures within hospital and clinic Practice Management Systems.
  4. Cost Price Management: Collaborate with Procurement to manage cost price changes and improve margin capture.
  5. Market Analysis: Identify opportunities to improve pricing mechanisms for clinics & hospitals within the Future PIMS project.
  6. Pricing Strategy: Make recommendations to changes to pricing structures based on market developments.
About You
  • Qualifications: Tertiary level qualification.
  • Pricing Experience: Relevant pricing experience is ideal but not mandatory.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and a disciplined approach to price and revenue management.
  • Commercial Acumen: Commercial acumen to inform pricing decisions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the veterinary or healthcare industry.
  • Technical Skills: Experienced with Microsoft Excel and other computer software skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills and the ability to draw insights from data to inform practical solutions.
