Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant individual to join our team as a Weighbridge Operator. This role is focused on maintaining a strong security presence while conducting weighbridge operations and vehicle checks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the weighbridge and conduct thorough vehicle inspections
  • Manage visitor and contractor access, ensuring seamless registration and control
  • Ensure secure premises through locking and unlocking procedures
  • Respond promptly to emergency incidents on site
  • Monitor and respond to alarm systems
  • Induct visitors and contractors prior to site entry, providing essential safety briefings
  • Conduct regular CCTV camera monitoring for situational awareness
  • Utilize computer systems and maintain databases as required to support operational efficiency
Requirements:
  • Current QLD Security License (unarmed) - willingness to obtain higher-level certifications
  • Certificate II in Security Operations - willingness to upgrade
  • QLD drivers' license
  • Up-to-date First Aid certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and computer use
