The Key Responsibilities of this role include:
- Supporting the delivery and maintenance of system components for the BICES solution.
- Collaborating with the Lead Solution Architect and Change Manager to implement technical changes through Defence processes.
- Ensuring system security and resilience through regular patching and updates.
- Assisting Business Analysts and Technical Writers in developing and reviewing technical support documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
The ideal candidate will have experience with technologies such as Microsoft products (ECM, Windows, SQL, Exchange, Active Directory), monitoring and system management tools, endpoint protection and patching, VMware, and Linux. Familiarity with Pegasus support processes in FVEY environments and knowledge of transition processes for stakeholder engagement and system handovers are also desirable.
To be successful in this role, you will require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
