Boilermaker Apprentice

We are seeking an Apprentice Boilermaker to join our team, completing their 2nd or 3rd year apprenticeship and looking to secure a career that offers personal growth and career development. You will report to the Workshop Manager.

Our Apprenticeship program consists of structured learning and on-the-job training, enabling you to gain necessary hands-on experience while completing your TAFE requirements. We have an excellent retention rate with our program giving Apprentices the opportunity to develop and grow their careers with the company in a supported environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Duties may involve the use of hand and power tools, plumb bobs, levels, wedges, dogs, and/or turnbuckles.
• Competently using electrical powered tools, hand tools, and other equipment to complete maintenance and construction projects.
• Predominantly you will be working on Piling Rig tooling fabrication, repairs, and maintenance.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Minimum 2nd Year Boilermaker Apprenticeship (completed)
• The ability to comply with responsibilities relating to the terms of the Training Contract as an Apprentice (training attendance and attainment of competencies).
• Working towards a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade
• Ability to undertake Construction Induction Training (CIT/'White Card') at the request and expense of Acciona
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of components used in the construction engineering industry, in disciplines such as ground engineering
• Possess or be in the process of obtaining a Driver Licence
