About the Role

As a Habit Coach at Everyday Independence, you'll play a vital part in enabling NDIS participants to develop greater independence and work towards reaching their full potential. You'll support participants across all ages and stages of life, working at their home or a community location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement therapy plans provided by primary therapists
  • Support participants in developing healthy habits and promoting independence
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve participant goals
Requirements
  • Studying a university degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Physiotherapy (minimum 2nd year)
  • Or have completed a Certificate 3 or 4 in Allied Health Assistance or an equivalent qualification with demonstrated experience in a similar position
  • Consistent and ongoing availability to work, including minimum two days a week to support participants during their afternoon routines
  • Ability to travel to regional and surrounding areas
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, emotional intelligence, and empathy
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Valid Australian driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children's Check
