
Policy and Regulatory Affairs Strategist

As a key member of our team, you will lead the development and implementation of our public policy and regulatory affairs strategy across Australia and New Zealand.
- Manage regulatory compliance for alcohol products.
- Develop and deliver government submissions on public policy matters.
- Lead training for business teams on regulatory codes and obligations.
- Manage responsible drinking programs.
- Partner with industry associations to strengthen reputation and develop campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing, legal, sustainability, and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging that promotes the business and our brands.
This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders. A degree qualification in law, public policy, communications, or corporate affairs is preferred. Minimum 5 years' experience in regulatory, corporate affairs, communications, or government environments is also required.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with regulatory codes and drafting high-quality government submissions.
- Knowledge of media engagement and current affairs.
