About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ground Service Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our aviation industry team, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining ground service equipment.

Your expertise will include troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling customer equipment. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and meets our high standards.

The ideal candidate will have trade qualifications as a diesel mechanic or technician and experience with hydraulics and pneumatics. Additionally, you should have mechanical or electrical experience and hold a valid driver's license. If you possess these skills and are comfortable working in a team environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Service, maintenance, and repairs of ground service equipment
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and quote units for repair
  • Conduct scheduled servicing and breakdown work in the field and workshop
  • Diagnose and repair faults, undertake modifications, and complete administrative records
  • Undertake mechanical assembly of components and meet design and build requirements
About You
  • Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic or Technician
  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Mechanical/Automotive Assembly or Electrical Experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong knowledge of OHS procedures
