We are seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our team in a permanent day shift, full-time role. This position involves working in a warehouse environment and performing various tasks related to receiving, storing, picking and shipping products.
Key Responsibilities:- Operating a counter-balance forklift to assist with loading and unloading trucks when required.
- Picking and shipping sausages, cured meats, canned meats and other products within 24 hours of receipt.
- Working in cold storage and dry storage environments.
- Receiving and unloading containers and processing orders when necessary.
- Replenishing stock in pick bays.
- Using computer systems for creating consignments and manifests via freight platforms.
- A valid forklift license.
- Prior experience in picking and packing.
- Invoicing and dispatching skills.
- An understanding of warehouse distribution processes.
- Familiarity with food handling environments (preferable but not essential).
- The ability to interpret instructions and adhere to deadlines.
