**Finance Reporting Analyst Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Reporting Analyst to join our Finance team at Australian Venue Co. in Melbourne.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist with the month-end process, focusing on Head Office departments and labour costs.
  • Prepare management reporting and analysis of Head Office costs, including identifying and explaining causes of variances to budget.
  • Participate in the annual Head Office budget-setting process.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, including investigation of material reconciling items.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Accounting team to assist with the preparation of monthly board reporting and annual financial reports.
  • Support the Financial Reporting Manager in coordinating the audit process, including responding to queries as needed.

**Qualifications & Experience:**

  • CA or CPA qualified with 2-3 years of practical experience within a large or mid-tier accounting firm or a similar role in industry.
  • Exposure to and understanding of financial reporting obligations and the audit process preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in using accounting applications and ability to adapt to new systems.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
