Boilermaker/Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our high-profile Oil & Gas project in Botany Bay. As a Boilermaker/Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs and installations on rotating and fixed equipment.
This role offers the opportunity to work with experienced site engineers and supervisors who promote a culture of safety and teamwork within an operational plant environment.
About the Role:- Perform daily checks and inspections to prevent equipment failure
- Maintain and repair mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves and compressors
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals
- Contribute to improving workplace safety through regular risk assessments
- Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting & Machining or equivalent)
- Proven experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Heavy Industrial sectors
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Current confined space and working at heights tickets (or willingness to obtain)
- A strong focus on safety and attention to detail
