Luxury Front Office Manager Opportunity

Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, a luxury hotel in the heart of Sydney, is seeking an exceptional Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team. As part of our ongoing transformation, we aim to deliver an unparalleled luxury experience to our guests.
About Sofitel Sydney WentworthWe are undergoing a complete transformation, enhancing all hotel facilities to provide an outstanding luxury service. The project will be completed in Spring 2024, introducing an all-encompassing experience where entertainment, leisure, dining, conferencing, and hospitality converge seamlessly.
Job DescriptionAs our onsite full-time Assistant Front Office Manager, you will ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing excellent customer service. You will assist management in achieving brand & cleanliness standards, drive people management, guest feedback & problem resolution, and supervise daily operations.
- Supervise guest arrivals and departures, handle guest queries and complaints
- Ensure room allocations and check-in/check-out processes follow set procedures
- Prepare Front Office monthly reports
- Supervise lobby services
- Liaise with Reservations office for accurate room allocation
- Work closely with Maintenance to ensure timely maintenance requests
- Manage and support the Front Office team, including coaching, training, and performance management
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous 3-5 years' experience in a Front Office role
- First Aid Certificate and RSA required
- Knowledge of another language preferred
- Discretion with guest interactions
- Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Outlook

The estimated salary for this role is around AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
