This role requires working with poultry products, with set shift times as determined by the site. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with production line operations for poultry products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Pack items from conveyor belts, utilizing your attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Operate machinery for poultry processing, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Dispatch poultry orders and shipments, utilizing your communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Remove damaged or poor-quality products from the line, maintaining a high level of quality control.
  • Palletise poultry products for shipment, ensuring efficient and safe handling.
  • Sort and conduct quality checks on all food items, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to new product development in the poultry category, utilizing your creativity and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a food factory, particularly in poultry processing (advantageous).
  • Ability to work in a cold environment, with a high level of physical activity.
  • Comfortable working with meat and poultry, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Ability to lift 15-20kg, with a high level of physical stamina.
  • Full Australian working rights with no restrictions.
  • Must have a reliable car and a valid driver's license, with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
