Apprentice Fitter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Fitter to fill this vacancy.

As an Apprentice Fitter, you will be responsible for assisting tradespeople in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment.

  1. Assist tradespeople in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment.
  2. Inspect equipment, identify faults and rectify or replace as required.
  3. Carry out routine maintenance on mobile and fixed machinery, including welding.
  4. Perform other supervised workshop duties as directed.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be physically fit, reliable and capable of working as part of a team. A current driver's licence is also essential.

Training and Development Opportunities

This role offers the opportunity to learn from experienced tradespeople and study at TAFE to develop your skills and knowledge.
