Financial Analyst

Professional Search Group is seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our client's team in the Northern Suburbs. This role represents a great opportunity for you to level-up your career with a growing ASX listed industrial business.

As an Accountant, your role will encompass a broad range of responsibilities centred across weekly reporting, taxation, payroll, reconciliations, month end duties and providing support to the Management Accountant, Financial Controller, the Corporate accounting team and wider business.

• Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with the Management Accountant and Financial Controller to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Qualifications in accounting principles.
• Firm grasp of financial principles.
• Strong inter-personal skills, excellent communication and presentational skills.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines and attention to detail.
• Strong systems knowledge and advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of Sage and Microsoft Power BI is beneficial.
