About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Structural Design Engineer to join our team at Consolidated Power Projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise for the development of infrastructure for substations, transport, and civil structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of structural design requirements of substations, transport, and civil structures
  • Work closely with other engineers, designers, and clients across a range of crucial projects
  • Mentor and support a team of structural engineers, including graduates
  • Develop and implement structural design solutions that meet Australian guidelines and standards
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of 10+ years experience in a similar Principal Structural Engineer position within renewables or utilities
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of Australian guidelines and standards
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and mentor graduates and engineers
  • Proficient in SPACE GASS, PLS-CADD/PLS POLE and other structural tools
  • Demonstrated recent experience working within utilities or renewable energy design projects
