About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our QLD Logistics Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of delivery drivers to achieve sales and executional metrics across a designated geographic territory.

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for:

  • Communicating the Neverfail Business Plan and tracking performance against KPI objectives, financial targets, and DIFOT.
  • Leading performance planning, recruitment, talent identification, and succession planning within the team.
  • Training, coaching, and developing team members through regular performance discussions and development planning.
  • Ensuring a safe work environment by enforcing compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Applying best-in-class planning and strategy to organize contractor management and customer service excellence.
  • Contributing to the territory plan by demonstrating knowledge of customer needs, objectives, and opportunities.
  • Using customer feedback to adapt responses to customer needs and expectations, aligning plans, overcoming objections, and improving the customer experience.
  • Identifying and leveraging programs to meet and exceed volume and sales execution targets.
  • Negotiating contracts with delivery partners (3PL, contractors, and distributors).
  • Driving positive impact with stakeholders and promoting a growth mindset.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in managing relationships and building partnerships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiation, problem-solving, and identifying next steps and controls.
  • Strong accountability to drive results and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Effective time management and personal management skills, with the ability to work under limited supervision.
  • The ability to coach, mentor, and develop others to reach their full potential.
  • A strategic and decisive mindset, with the ability to set actionable goals.
  • Strong perseverance and resilience.
  • Truck license or forklift license (or willingness to obtain one).
