Join Our Team as an Aged Care Assistant

We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Aged Care Assistants in the Port Macquarie area. As an Aged Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care and grooming
  • Document resident conditions and assist with medication administration
  • Assist with meal consumption and monitor nutrition
  • Implement infection control and prevention measures
  • Collaborate with registered nurses to ensure holistic care
  • Support residents and their families during admission and transition
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including residents, families, doctors, and allied health professionals
Requirements:
  • Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent
  • COVID vaccination (including booster)
  • Minimum 3 months' experience in Australian Aged Care or equivalent
  • Current Police Check and NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain
  • Reliable vehicle and full driving license or proximity to public transport links
  • Smartphone
