About the Role

We are currently seeking a Wildlife Field Operative to join our Central Queensland Wildlife team on a casual basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for conservation, and excellent situational awareness. The role will involve assisting the team in delivering projects, including threatened species surveys, flying-fox management, and fauna spotter catching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Central Queensland Wildlife team in delivering projects
  • Conduct threatened species surveys and monitoring
  • Manage and monitor flying-fox populations
  • Assist with bird management and monitoring
  • Participate in pest animal management and monitoring
  • Conduct fauna spotter catching and wildlife relocation services
