Nido Early School is seeking an experienced educator leader to join our dynamic team. As a lead educator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a nurturing and empowering environment for children and educators alike.
About the Role
- You will design and deliver exceptional curriculum that fosters each child's learning and development while helping them build a strong sense of identity.
- Working closely with an early childhood teacher and leadership team, you will work collaboratively to create a positive and supportive classroom culture.
Key Responsibilities
- To lead a team of educators in a childcare setting, ensuring high-quality care and education are provided to children.
- To plan, implement and evaluate educational programs that meet the needs of children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
- To develop and maintain relationships with children, families and other stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
- In-depth experience in leading a team within a childcare service.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- A valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
