About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pathology Collector to join our team at QML Pathology, a leading provider of private medical laboratory and pathology services in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood and non-blood samples from patients with care and attention to detail.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of patient samples and documentation.
  • Prepare and package specimens for transport and testing.
  • Liaise with customers, clinic staff, and couriers to ensure smooth sample collection and delivery.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection.
  • Transferable skills gained in other positions within the healthcare industry highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions in a solo clinic setting.
  • Valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics.
  • Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or a valid visa with permission to work.
