Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Grounds Maintenance Officer to join our team in a stunning coastal location.

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of the site, attending to maintenance issues, and ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and guests.

  • Maintain beautiful outdoor spaces through mowing, pruning, planting, and pest control.
  • Carry out general repairs and upkeep across the site, including accommodation, pool areas, and equipment.
  • Coordinate contractor work and manage grounds maintenance budgets to deliver high standards.
  • Conduct regular WHS checks, follow safety protocols, and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities and incidents.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and grounds maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to respond calmly in emergencies. They will also be proactive, positive, and committed to delivering high levels of service with clear communication and a team-first attitude.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Hands-on experience in building and grounds maintenance.

You will also need to be comfortable with manual tasks like lifting, bending, and operating tools and equipment across varied terrain and conditions.
