Food Preparation Specialist

As a vital member of our culinary team, you will be working closely with our chef to prepare and serve delicious and nutritious meals for children and educators. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in food preparation, presentation, and safety.
- We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and has experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
You will work in a well-resourced and safe environment that promotes creativity and innovation. Our centre is perfectly situated in the heart of Civic, walking distance from Parliament house with access to public transport and shopping precincts.
In addition to your daily responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to participate in professional development opportunities, including coaching, conferences, mentoring, and career advancement programs.

To be considered for this role, you will need to hold a current Food Handling certificate and have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or be working towards it. You will also need to have an awareness of personal responsibilities under Child Protection Laws and ensure best practice food safety and hygiene standards are always upheld.
