Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Caseworker to join our team at the Gosford Youth Justice Community Office. As a Caseworker, you will provide front-line services to young people, including detainees, youth justice conferencing clients, victims of crime, and court-mandated young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake case management activities to target areas of need and risk to prevent re-offending.
  • Work collaboratively with Youth Justice staff and stakeholders to provide quality services.
  • Use structured screening and assessment tools to identify risks and needs of young people.
  • Monitor outcome plans and case plans for compliance and progress.
  • Provide young people and their families with tools, information, and support.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, welfare, psychology, criminology, education, or a related field.
  • NSW Working with Children Check clearance.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
