Expert Property Lawyer for Growth-Focused Company

This part-time role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growth journey, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
As Part-Time In-House Lawyer, Property Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting property transactions and providing strategic legal guidance across a range of property-related matters.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Transaction Support: Overseeing and advising on legal aspects of property transactions, including acquisitions, leases, and disposals.
- Legal Advisory: Delivering strategic legal insights on property matters, protecting the company's interests and supporting operational decisions.
- Risk Management: Ensuring compliance with property regulations and proactively managing legal risks associated with property assets.
- Dispute Resolution: Addressing property-related disputes, coordinating with internal teams and external counsel when necessary.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure smooth transaction processes.
In this role, you will work independently while collaborating effectively with senior leadership in a dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in property law, ideally within corporate or real estate sectors, with a comprehensive understanding of property law, including leasing, acquisition processes, and regulatory compliance.
Able to work independently and collaboratively, with strong negotiation and communication skills, attention to detail in document drafting and review, and a flexible approach to part-time hours.
The salary for this role is approximately $85,000 per annum, based on industry standards and market conditions.
