Permanently Employed Electrical Maintenance Specialist

The West Region Delivery Team is seeking a skilled Electrical Tradesperson to join our team on the Sydney Water Partnering for Success program.
We are looking for someone with flexibility to work on-call or afternoon shifts if required. The role will assist in the provision of electrical services including undertaking programmed and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of water industry assets.
The successful candidate will have an Electrical Trade qualification, instrumentation knowledge, well-developed communication skills, knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health requirements including hazard identification, Blue/White Card, dedication to safety and safe work practices, and a Full clean NSW driver's licence.

The Role:
Reporting to the Supervisor, the Electrical Tradesperson will assist in the provision of electrical services including undertaking programmed and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of water industry assets.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the monitoring, operation and maintenance of water and wastewater assets
- Identification and repair of electrical faults
- Liaise with operational staff as required to ensure plant operational performance is maintained and critical process issues are diagnosed and resolved
- Monitor and maintain electrical water and wastewater related assets
- Ensure WHS practices are maintained
