About the Role

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Heavy Duty Fitter and Auto Electrician. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in heavy duty fitting and auto electrical work while working in a dynamic underground mining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair engines and engine components
  • Maintain mobile plant braking, steering, and fluid power systems
  • Servicing drive assemblies and transmissions
  • Understanding and working with electrical and electronic systems
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems in heavy machinery
  • Understand vehicle circuits, wiring, and electronic components
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot faults
  • Apply safe and effective repair techniques
Requirements
  • Currently reside within the Kalgoorlie area
  • Previous Cert II in Engineering is advantageous or those wanting to upskill on their current trade
  • Willingness to learn
  • Attention to detail
  • Teamwork focused
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Strong commitment to safety as a way of work
  • Current C Class Australian Drivers Licence

As an Apprentice Heavy Duty Fitter and Auto Electrician, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced tradespeople and contribute to the safe and efficient maintenance of our underground mobile equipment fleet.
